Our Aquarium's Touch Pond is a great place for the younger kids. Its a great place for them to learn about touchable sea life and different types of Mollusks. In our touch pond we contain a large variety of Starfish for the kids to hold. We also have Hermit Crabs,Sea Sponges,Stingrays,Horseshoe Crabs, Clams, and Sea Snails.

You can also find another touch pond in the aquarium especially Made for Rays, and Leopard Sharks which are harmless.

 

Fun facts

  • Each sea star has hundreds of tiny tube feet that allow it to hold fast against the pounding surf.
  • The horseshoe crab is a living fossil. It has remained unchanged for 200 million years
